Yesterday, the FLAMINGo project met up with the SALEMA EU Project and reconnected with the European Aluminium Association (EAA), a partner of SALEMA. The SALEMA project, funded under the topic SC5-10-2019-2020, is a combined strategy of decreasing the critical raw material dependency (from magnesium and silicon) and creating a sustainable economy in the aluminium manufacturing industry in Europe. FLAMINGo and SALEMA EU agreed on several collaborative dissemination activities such as newsletter interaction among each other, common participation in events and exchange of technical knowledge in the field of lightweight aluminium application for the automotive sector.
