We are pleased to announce that Mr. Christian Kneißl recently attended the prestigious 75th World Foundry Congress in Deyang, China, on behalf of the FLAMINGo Project H2020. Global leaders in materials science and foundry were brought together for this esteemed occasion, giving FLAMINGo a major stage on which to present its innovative work in lightweight metal matrix composites.
Christian, who was invited by the WFC committee, gave a thorough presentation on FLAMINGo’s developments, highlighting the project’s contributions to cutting-edge lightweighting technologies that have the potential to revolutionise a number of sectors. In addition to discussing the project’s technical accomplishments, his lecture emphasised the sustainability advantages of lightweight metal matrix composites, including their improved energy efficiency and decreased environmental effect.
Christian also had the unique privilege of conducting the Forum on Metal Matrix Composites, a session devoted to talking about the latest developments, uses, and difficulties in this area. Experts from all around the world were able to collaborate and share ideas at this event, creating opportunities for future collaborations and innovation.
The congress provided FLAMINGo with a priceless chance to network with global industry professionals, exchange ideas, and get insights that will continue to shape the project’s future. We appreciate the invitation from the WFC committee and look forward to using these new relationships to further FLAMINGo’s influence on the international scene.
