Yesterday, the FLAMINGo H2020 Project , met up with Grupo Quimmco Mexico. Grupo Quimmco is an industrial consortium with businesses established in the metal-mechanic and chemical industries. Quimmco, specializes in metalworking, precision machining, forging, castings, complex manufacturing assemblies, and formulation of polyols. MBN and EXELISIS discussed with Quimmco, possible exploitation opportunities among them and the FLAMINGo and exchanged Knowledge on the aluminium alloys for the automotive components and casting methods. FLAMINGo H2020 Project that aims to develop Aluminium Metal Matrix nano-composites components and validate them in Electric Vehicles towards the EU plan for circularity and lower Greenhouse Gas Emissions.
