MBN is working on the scale-up of the production process for nano-additives addressing casting applications, to obtain the first 100kg batch for prototype production by ÖGI and Brunell University. A nano-additive amount of 100kg can serve a crucible up to 3 tons for Al-MMnC casting. Further activities on process optimization and industrialization of nano-additive production are foreseen during the FLAMINGo project progress.
